Christine Rodgers is first and foremost always trying to get to the woods.
When she isn’t doing this, she’s often writing—especially late at night, when the crickets are chirping, the moon is parading, and she’s caught her final wind of the day. Her writing explores the natural world, community, chronic illness, mental health, and disability.
Christine is often struck by the beauty and meaningful nature of the small interactions and experiences that life brings; writing is the way she celebrates and gives attention to these moments that might otherwise be overlooked or forgotten.
In 2018, Christine graduated from Christopher Newport University as a psychology and philosophy double major. Christine has won several awards for her writing, including a grant from Be Still Media’s 2025 Fellowship program. This grant is what enabled Christine to publish her debut memoir, The Days I Spent in the Wind.
Christine currently resides in Richmond, Virginia and spends her free time scrapbooking at the kitchen table, studying the natural world, laughing with her husband, lounging on the couch, and exploring riverside trails.

Francisco Fonseca is a Portuguese illustrator and street artist whose work explores the relationship between people and the places they inhabit. Working across illustration, painting and murals, he often places houses and architecture at the centre of his visual language, transforming overlooked buildings into characters and stories.
Inspired by Portuguese architecture, aged textures and the quiet details of everyday environments, his work finds beauty in places that are often ignored or forgotten.
Through a playful yet atmospheric approach, Francisco creates imaginary worlds rooted in real spaces, inviting viewers to look again at the familiar.
Based in Portugal, his work spans murals, exhibitions, illustrations and self-published projects, including his ongoing series Portuguese Invisible Houses.
